A Letter From A Client
I woke up this last Saturday to the most wonderful email. I love catching up with past clients and hearing how they are doing and this email left me grinning all weekend. Yes, I am deeply appreciative of her kind words to me, but even more so I am elated to hear that all the things she told me she dreamed of doing, she is in action on! Prospective clients frequently ask me what I do. It’s a challenging question as it varies client to client, but the heart of this letter sums up my higher mission: to help people fulfill their dreams. With her permission, I am sharing her letter below.
Hey Katherine,
Thank you so much for the time you spent working with me. You have helped me believe in myself, continue to create reasonable goals and expectations for myself, and autonomously work through putting words to what I’m feeling or experiencing so I can address my concerns and worries. I finally put my notice in at work. We made a budget that I can visualize and follow, oddly enough a plain spread sheet where I can see the whole year at once did the trick. Here’s my resignation letter into work.
“I am excited to inform you that I will be following my dreams to support our community by starting a small regenerative farm, continuing to direct the local Farmers Market, dedicating time to making art, and helping a friend open their Farm to Table restaurant. I have accepted a part-time remote position that will allow me the flexibility to pursue these dreams and passions. As we all know in the medical profession, life is short and meant to be lived fully. I am eternally grateful for what I have learn and how I have grown working here. I love this team and patients; you are all in my heart.”
The doctor I worked for told me he was amazed at how much organizational and focused improvement I made over the last year and half. I told him had hired a coach to help me. That seemed to impress him that I’d do that to insure I do well in the job.
Anywho thank you for helping me keep my job long enough to meet my goals. You made a difference in my life.
Sincerely,
R.W.
